The Barnzee 2003
The Fifth Annual Youth Tennis Golf Classic - "The Barnzee" was held November 17 at Del Mar Country Club. The event chairman was John Schroeder and the purpose of the tournament was to raise funds to support the projects and programs of Youth Tennis San Diego. The players began their day with a golf clinic presented by PGA player Dennis Paulson. Dennis is a past winner of the PGA long drive competition. After a great day of golf the players and hole sponsors enjoyed a reception and awards ceremony.

Ruth and Gordon Jorgensen were major sponsors and hosted the event. Winners of the tournament were Rich Ferrier, Ron Langley, Howdy Pratt, and Alan Skuba. The tournament raised over $65,000. Many thanks to John Schroeder, all the players, donors and sponsors, and the Barnzee committee for their yearlong commitment. We would like to give a special thanks to Dennis Paulson for donating his day to the Barnzee.
