The Barnes Tennis Center provides a complete pathway of junior tennis development, from fun recreational introductory classes to high-performance and elite programs. Our Junior Academy is a comprehensive tennis training program that encompasses all of our tournament level players. From age 8 and up, our Academy can take a player from the beginning stages of competing in Novice tournaments through to top level National and International tournament play. The Steve Adamson Tennis Academy has San Diego's top ranked junior players and is the pathway to D1 Collegiate tennis. The alumni have gone off to play at Stanford, Harvard, USC, Princeton, Brown, University of Texas, UC Berkeley/Irvine/Davis/UCLA and other top universities around the country. By emphasizing education, integrity, and a strong work ethic our players will be equipped with the skills needed to succeed not just on the tennis court but in life. Our workouts are divided by age and ability with Competitive, High Performance, and Elite level workouts.
