Come discover our wonderful education facilities. Part of our mission is to provide all children with the opportunity to learn. Youth Tennis San Diego provides homework assistance in our Booth Education Center located at the Barnes Tennis Center. Our library provides an excellent location for juniors to finish homework, or borrow a book after a great tennis workout. Tables are provided to do homework and other academic activities. Our library is a treasure trove of tennis history.
The Junior Aces Program for Ages 3-5 is based on the philosophy of learning through movement. Our program emphasizes kinesthetic learning through multisensory experiences. By combining structured, academic learning and active play we build a foundation of academic and physical excellence in the young child. Our ideal teacher to child ratio allows for comprehensive problem solving in an environment that values individual social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth and builds a respectful, friendly community.
In the classroom, children explore, investigate, and create with a range of developmentally appropriate activities. We believe that all children learn differently and we provide opportunities for each child to learn through instruction, play, song, movement and practice. On the tennis court, children participate in the first lessons in tennis through drills, games and teamwork.
The Junior Aces program fosters a love of learning while emphasizing the benefits of wholesome eating and physical fitness, guiding children to making positive choices for an inquiring, healthy, and active life!
