How do I sign up for classes on this website?

Is there an adult membership available at Barnes?


Yes, adult memberships are available at The Barnes Tennis Center, including Single, Family, Senior, Military/Student, and Pickleball. To find out more contact our Pro Shop.




What happens when it rains? How do make up classes work?


Depending on which program you are signed up for, we encourage you to attend one of the other days that are available to make up your day before the end of each session.




Can I sign my child up in the middle of the session?


Absolutely! We will just pro rate the dollar amount according to how many classes are left in that session.




How much does it cost to rent a court?

How do I go about getting private lessons for my child?


Please contact our General Manager, Ryan Redondo.




How do I know what level my child is? What program my child belongs in?


After contacting the center, we will set up an evaluation for your child and assess which class will be good for them. We will also ask about goals and playing experience.




Do I have to make a reservation for a court or can I just show up?


We prefer that you make a reservation to ensure you get a court but "walk-ins" are always welcome here at Barnes Tennis Center. Reservations are accepted up to 72 hours in advance. Please call 619.221.9000 to reserve,




Are there classes for adults?


Yes we do offer group classes for adults. Please click here for schedule/costs.




How do I find out about tournaments coming up?

Are dogs allowed at the facility?


Unfortunately no pets are allowed on property.




Do we provide water on the courts?


We have water fountains by the Biszantz Youth Activity Building and during most tournaments we provide water jugs near the courts.




Is there an ATM at the facility?


Unfortunately not but there are plenty of ATMs in very close proximity to the center.




Is there a place for players to shower after their match?  **Please note: Locker rooms are currently closed due to current COVID regulations**


While we do not have lockers, we do have showers that are available for use. Please bring your own towel as we do not have any.




Do we have an ice machine?


Yes, though we do not provide ice for water jugs/coolers. We will provide ice for player recovery.
