Barnes Tennis Center Featured on the Cover of Facility Magazine

We’re excited to share that Barnes Tennis Center is the cover feature in the December 2025 issue of Facility Magazine, published by the International Association of Pickleball & Padel Facilities (IAPPF).

The feature, “Barnes Tennis Center: A Multi-Sport Model for the Future,” highlights how Barnes has become a national example for successfully integrating tennis, pickleball, and

padel, all while staying true to our nonprofit mission through Youth Tennis San Diego (YTSD).

The article spotlights Barnes’ 17-acre campus in Point Loma and our growing multi-sport footprint, including 25 tennis courts, 19 pickleball courts, and 7 padel courts, operating side-by-side to serve players of all ages and levels.

It also recognizes Barnes as a premier event destination, including hosting the 2025 USA Pickleball National Championships, welcoming 2,600+ athletes from 47 states and 13 countries, plus 10,000+ spectators.

We’re honored to be recognized and grateful to our community for helping make Barnes a place where racquet sports and impact can grow together.
