YTSD Day of Giving

December 2, 2025, Youth Tennis San Diego (YTSD), the nonprofit organization that owns and operates the Barnes Tennis Center, invites the community to join us for our Annual Day of Giving, a celebration of generosity, friendly competition, and the power of racquet sports to change lives.

This year, YTSD is setting an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 to support youth programs across San Diego. In a fun twist, our Tennis, Pickleball, and Padel communities will compete to see which sport can rally the most support!

During the Day of Giving, Pickleball Open Play Sessions will be donation-based.

Instead of paying a court fee, players are encouraged to donate that amount (or a little extra!) to help us reach our goal. And don’t worry, tennis and padel players, we’ve got special activities planned for you too! Stay tuned for more details about what’s happening at the Barnes Tennis Center on December 2.

While the main celebration takes place on December 2, early donations are already open. Every contribution helps your favorite sport take the lead and directly supports YTSD’s mission: to provide a development pathway for all youth by fostering physical, mental, emotional, educational, and social growth through sport.

Together, we can make a lasting impact on young athletes across San Diego, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through tennis, pickleball, and padel.
