Youth Tennis San Diego
Who We Are
YTSD’s programs have brought the game of tennis right to the backyards of thousands of children and adults across San Diego County–eliminating long-standing financial barriers and dramatically increasing the accessibility of the sport. At the forefront of tennis organizations, YTSD has developed outreach programs at a central location at the Barnes Tennis Center, an award-winning, safe haven, and premier tennis training facility right in the heart of San Diego.

Mission
Youth Tennis San Diego is a nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to promote the educational, physical, and social development of all youth through organized tennis and educational activities. YTSD community programs encourage youth participation, and focus on personal integrity, leadership, and developing a competitive spirit in a friendly environment that builds responsible citizens.
J.U.M.P.
Junior Tennis Underwriting Master Plan (J.U.M.P.). We are thrilled to announce that all children in San Diego and surrounding areas now have the opportunity to participate in USTA-sanctioned L7 and Junior Circuit tournaments at no cost. Our center is proud to be the first and only in the United States to provide this unprecedented service, breaking down financial barriers and fostering a more inclusive community. Typically, entry fees for these tournaments can cost up to $55 per player, making our initiative a significant step forward in promoting equal access to opportunities for young athletes. We are committed to making a lasting impact and ensuring that every child has the chance to showcase their skills and compete.
